A bit about me
Although I've always known I wanted to work in IT, I never quite decided on something to specialize on,
so I did a bit of everything to see what I would enjoy the most, support, infra, dev, business analyst...
Through those experiences I've developed strong problem solving skills and an ability to quickly learn new technologies.
I think I'm a jack of all trades kind of person, I can do/learn anything as long as I find it interesting and I love to work on various tasks.
But I'm also a bit lazy and I hate doing repetitive tasks, so I always had an interest in Automation:
I love to build scripts and tools, click on a button and watch the computer work for me!
Work Experience
PLM consultant
Inensia
Inensia is an integrator of PLM solutions. I had several roles while I work there. At first I was a business analyst, defining business needs, refining sprints and writing users stories. But I didn't thrive in this position so I moved to a more technical role were I did development and automation. I used vagrant to set up a standard dev environment and created the first pipeline of the project using Azure Devops. I also developed some test using pester.
IT Consultant - Infra & DevOps
Orange Business Services (SII)
At OBS, I worked in a team developing a mobile authentication app for Orange's customers. The team was organized around the Agile methodology, this was a first for me. It was also the first time that I had worked in a team of developers and supporting them, so I learned a lot about tools like Git, Jira, Confluence and so on. At first my tasks were focused at infrastructure, I did a lot of Ansible and Linux to setup new environments. But, as I was showing interest for DevOps I had the opportunity to play a bit with CI/CD.
PLM Developer (C# / JS)
Mersen
After my internship at Mersen, I switched from infra to dev. I had learnt how to code by myself and it was a good opportunity to get real-world practice. I worked on implementing a PLM project (Aras Innovator), configuring the solution and developing methods to match the business needs.
System & Network Administrator - Intern
Mersen
Mersen is an industrial manufacturer building graphite equipments for the pharmaceutical industry. I worked in a team of three supporting about 150 users. Although I did a bit of user support (L2/L3), my tasks were mainly focused on network and infrastructure management. I had the opportunity to do scripting to automate my tasks, and I did a bit of development to modify existing webapps. I also had some projects to manage, the biggest one being my end of studies project about network security.
IT Maintenance and Support - Intern
Fives Nordon
Fives Nordon is an industrial manufacturer building piping solutions. I worked in Nancy in a team of five supporting around 600 users. My tasks were mainly focused on helpdesk and computer maintenance at the beginning, but after some time I also helped to manage servers and network. Finally, my end of studies project was to implement a supervision solution (Zabbix).
My Interests
I have a keen interest in sailing. I am a volunteering instructor at "Les Glénans" sailing school. I also enjoy cycling and inline skating.
I love to do DIY projects around the home. I bought an old apartment and restored it from floor to ceiling.
I've also started playing the violin 5 years ago.
